Today, we're going to discuss why this matters and how Mercury is developing solutions that enable and support this approach. Ralph Guevarez: As I mentioned, the theme for this year's show is integrated deterrence. Can you please explain to our viewers what exactly that means?
Virgil Russell: Absolutely. Integrated deterrence is the ability of US forces to react quickly to an adversary's actions, to ensure that the conflict doesn't escalate beyond control. One of the ways we accomplish this is with an integrated network of systems and architectures that enable cross domain operations with our allies. Those domain operations include information, conventional, cyber and space. Here at SOFIC, we're demonstrating that integrated deterrence as a community by establishing, A, the networks internally from a business side, as well as with the military and its allies to enable again, the international cooperation and sharing of information and capabilities across the breadth of our allies.
Ralph Guevarez: Thank you for that Virgil. I appreciate your insights. Now, can you please speak to the technologies that Mercury offers to support integrated deterrents?
Virgil Russell: Certainly. Almost everything we do at Mercury is dedicated to supporting the war fighter and the concept of integrated deterrents. For example, we're shown here at SOFIC at some of our avionics equipment that helps stealths from the airborne standpoint. We have a multifunctional display that enables the integration of sensors, COMMS, data, and mapping to provide a common operational picture for the operator. Additionally, we have a COMMS management unit that enables integration of multiple radios in one easy to use box and easy to integrate box, again, increasing cooperation and infrastructure support. And finally, we have our product that we're rolling out this week, AMMP, that is an airborne mission computer that again, supports the integration of multiple sensors and applications.
Ralph Guevarez: Thank you for that, Virgil. Now you mentioned AMMP recently. Can you please explain to our viewers more about this platform, and why it matters to the defense industry?
Virgil Russell: Absolutely. We're very excited about AMMP. I'll just say that right front. First of its kind, most capable mission computer out there today. It's stealth certifiable and it's SOSA aligned provides unparalleled flexibility to our customers for the ability to add applications, as well as remove boxes that those applications were previously hosted on. That will enable them for quicker integration, lower swap, and saves on cost as well. It's a great platform and we're very excited for it.
